Despite how good it sounds, spending cuts are difficult and people really don't want them. They want others spending cut. We're going to have to raise taxes when the economy improves and you need Democrats to do that dirty work. I'm glad you gave the Republicans credit for something though. Eliminating earmarks is something else they can take credit for.
